Supporting Your Healing Journey - Before, During, and After the Psychedelic Experience.

Psychedelics can be powerful catalysts for personal growth, insight, and healing - but they are not magic pills. Without proper support, even the most profound experiences can fade or feel confusing. That’s why I offer a grounded, heart-centered approach to psychedelic preparation, sitting, and integration. My work is rooted in a trauma-informed, somatic, and spiritually inclusive framework, designed to help you navigate altered states of consciousness with clarity, safety, and meaning.

HOW I HELP

Walking with you through it all…

Preparation

Preparation is essential, and it begins by building a strong container. Together, we’ll clarify your intentions and goals, explore your emotional, psychological, and spiritual readiness, and develop mindfulness, somatic awareness, and grounding tools. We’ll also address any fears, resistance, or prior experiences that may be influencing your path, and create a personalized support plan for before, during, and after your journey. This phase is about aligning your inner compass - so you enter the experience not as a passive participant, but as an empowered co-creator.

Facilitation

For those engaging in Oregon’s legal psilocybin services, I provide facilitation within licensed service centers. My presence is calm, nurturing, and intuitive - rooted in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and deep listening. I honor your autonomy, your pace, and your unique unfolding process. My role is to ensure safety, presence, and compassionate guidance throughout your experience, helping you feel supported before, during, and after your session. While psilocybin is administered only through licensed centers, I walk alongside you every step of the way to create a grounded and meaningful journey.

Integration

Integration is where the real transformation takes root. After the peak experience fades, we work together to reflect on the insights, emotions, or visions that arose; process any unresolved or challenging material; and translate those insights into tangible life changes. This may include reconnecting with your body, relationships, and inner guidance, and staying accountable to the shifts you want to embody. This work draws on psychotherapy, coaching, embodiment practices, and spiritual reflection. It’s a space where the mystical meets the practical - so that your experience becomes not just a memory, but a meaningful part of your personal evolution.

About My Approach

My work is informed by a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, years of experience in somatic and mindfulness-based therapies, and formal training in psychedelic-assisted therapy through a licensed program in Oregon. In addition, my university studies in religious traditions and contemplative philosophy deepen my understanding of the ceremonial and spiritual dimensions of plant medicine work. My own personal healing journeys with psychedelics continue to shape my perspective, reminding me of the profound insights and challenges these experiences can bring. This unique blend of clinical, somatic, lived, and cross-cultural perspectives shapes the way I support clients before, during, and after their journeys—holding space that is both psychologically grounded and spiritually respectful.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All psilocybin experiences I facilitate take place only within Oregon’s licensed psilocybin service centers, where the medicine is held with respect, regulation, and care. These centers operate under Oregon’s legal framework, allowing adults to access psilocybin in a safe, supervised setting grounded in intention and integrity. The psilocybin used is state-regulated and legally administered onsite. I do not supply, handle, or provide any substances outside of this system. The medicine you receive comes through a thoughtful, transparent process - designed to support both your safety and the depth of your experience. You simply arrive with your intention, and the center provides the psilocybin on the day of your session.

This model allows us to focus fully on what matters most: your healing, your pace, your unfolding.

  • I offer both facilitation and preparation/integration support - and you are welcome to choose the level of involvement that feels right for you.

If you’re participating in Oregon’s legal psilocybin services, I am able to sit with you as your facilitator within a licensed service center, providing a calm, grounded presence throughout your journey.

You do not need to work with me as your facilitator to receive support. Many people come to me before or after their experience, whether they are working with another licensed facilitator or center, to clarify intentions, feel emotionally prepared, and integrate meaningful insights into daily life.

Wherever and however your journey unfolds, my role is to help you feel supported, empowered, and deeply resourced before, during, and after your experience.

  • A typical session begins with grounding and intention-setting. We’ll take time to connect, review your intentions, and establish a sense of safety and trust. Anything previously requested or agreed upon during our preparation meeting - such as music preferences, rituals, or specific support tools - will be included to help create the environment that best supports you. As the medicine begins to take effect, I remain present as a calm, supportive guide - offering quiet companionship, verbal reassurance, or somatic grounding practices as needed. The session unfolds at your pace, with space for deep inner exploration. As the effects begin to subside, we move into gentle integration - supporting you in making sense of your experience and beginning the transition back to everyday awareness.

  • Preparation and integration sessions can take place either in person or virtually, depending on what feels most accessible and supportive for you. Some clients prefer the grounded connection of in-person work, while others -especially those traveling to the area for journey support - find it easier to do these sessions remotely before and after their visit. This part of the process is flexible and collaborative, and we’ll choose what best fits your needs.

If, after your integration session, you feel there's still more to process or explore, additional sessions are absolutely available. Integration is often a layered and unfolding journey, and continued support can help deepen the insights and lasting changes that emerge over time.

  • Psychedelic experiences can be powerful catalysts for healing, but they’re not the right fit for everyone. Safety depends on a variety of factors, including your mental and physical health history, your current emotional state, and the setting in which the experience takes place. During our preparation work, we’ll explore your readiness from a psychological, medical, emotional, and spiritual perspective to ensure that you’re entering the experience with support, clarity, and care.

For many people, psychedelic work can offer profound insight, release, and transformation - but it’s most effective when approached intentionally, with proper guidance. If you're curious but unsure, I’m happy to help you assess whether this path aligns with your goals and needs. The process is always collaborative, and your sense of safety and agency come first.

For medical concerns, see question “Who should avoid using psychedelics.”

  • Psychedelics are contraindicated in several situations due to the potential for serious harm. They should not be used by individuals with a personal or family history of psychotic disorders, such as schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, as these substances can trigger or worsen psychosis. Similarly, those diagnosed with Bipolar I disorder are at risk for manic episodes and mood destabilization.

Certain medical conditions also present significant risks. People with serious heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a history of seizures should avoid psychedelics, as these substances can increase cardiovascular strain and lower the seizure threshold. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is also not recommended, as safety data is lacking.

Medication interactions are another important consideration. Psychedelics can interact with antidepressants - particularly SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, and tricyclics - in ways that may increase the risk of serotonin syndrome. However, this does not always mean psychedelics are completely off the table. If you’re currently taking antidepressants, it’s essential to speak with a knowledgeable medical professional to assess the risks and determine whether a safe approach is possible. Lithium, in particular, is associated with dangerous interactions and is generally considered a strict contraindication. Antipsychotic medications may also interfere with the effects of psychedelics.
